How does the devastation brought from Typhoon Haiyan make you feel?
Typhoon Haiyan or Typhoon Yolanda as we call it here in the Philippines was said to be the strongest typhoon to hit the country this year and so it was called a super typhoon as it had wind speeds greater than 300 km/h. Just from looking at the typhoon in TV, it was really huge and the whole typhoon almost covered the majortiy of the Philippines and it devastated the whole of the Visayas region. As I live up north in Pasig City in Metro Manila, during the time of the typhoon, while it was raining and windy, there was not really any damage that was done in the area and it was like any regular rainy day. From what I've heard from local radio and seen from local television, ...will finish later
How should people prepare for and respond to disasters like Typhoon Haiyan?
Why do people live in vulnerable areas?
